About Lindsey Lewis

Lindsey is a watercolor artist who paints from feeling rather than a formula. Her original work blends realism with impressionism, and it’s never about perfect replication. Instead, she focuses on emotional resonance, choosing colors based on how a scene makes her feel. Staying authentic to her creativity means letting intuition guide the brush and honoring the mood of the moment over exact replication.

Born in New Jersey, lived in Florida for five years, and now living in New Hampshire, Lindsey draws inspiration from the natural world around her. The changing seasons and New England landscapes have deepened her connection to nature and influenced her evolving style.

She has been painting plein air to be more immersed in nature and tries to capture the feeling that comes from the shifting light, sounds, and atmosphere in real time, allowing each piece to reflect the experience of being present.
